FAQ
Good questions. Straight answers.
Understand the product before you connect a repository.
What can I use today?
Basic is free and includes one connected repository, manual built-in reviews and scans, saved findings, personal triage and exports. Pro adds AI reviews and GitHub automation. Advanced adds AI coding and repository scans. Enterprise requires a separate conversation. Paid checkout is being prepared.
Do I need my own OpenAI API key?
No. Pro and Advanced AI reviews use AntiCode’s server key. The key is not sent to the browser. The service has rate and input limits; it is not unlimited usage.
Does my code leave my Mac?
Native deterministic checks can run locally. The website fetches GitHub diffs on its server. Selecting AI review sends the selected diff to OpenAI. AI repository scans and comment conversations send their bounded source context as well. Native reporting and telemetry depend on your configuration.
Can I sign in with Apple?
Apple sign-in is not configured yet. Use GitHub for the currently supported customer workflow.
Does a review appear automatically on GitHub?
The GitHub App integration supports automatic reviews and comment replies after the operator completes App setup and a repository administrator opts in. Check Automations for current availability. Dashboard reviews remain available separately. AntiCode does not automatically approve or merge pull requests.
Can AntiCode replace a human reviewer?
No. Inspect the evidence, reproduce important findings, run relevant tests, and retain human approval. A clean review is not proof that the change is correct or secure.
What happens when my pull request changes?
Sync the repository again. Reviews count as current only when the head commit, base commit, and target branch match. A changed revision needs a new review.
Who sees my triage decisions?
Accepted, dismissed, and open states are personal to your account. Canonical findings are available to authorized customers with access to the same repository. Your personal choices do not hide evidence for another customer.
What limits apply?
Basic includes 1 connected repository, Pro includes 5, and Advanced includes 15. Sync supports up to 200 recently updated pull requests per repository and review diffs of at most 80,000 characters. Pro includes 50 AI reviews and 100 reply or fix attempts per month. Advanced includes 150 AI reviews, 300 reply or fix attempts, 10 coding attempts and 5 AI scan attempts per month. There are per-customer and shared service review rate limits, described on the pricing and availability page.
What does Disconnect do?
It removes your workspace membership immediately. It does not promise deletion of all stored data or revoke your GitHub OAuth authorization. Use GitHub settings to revoke that authorization separately.
Are enterprise controls or certifications available?
SSO, SCIM, custom data residency, contractual SLAs, self-hosting, and verified compliance certifications are not currently offered. Discuss requirements before starting an enterprise pilot.
Is there a paid plan or a 14-day trial?
Basic is free. Pro is €19/month or €190/year; Advanced is €49/month or €490/year. Enterprise is contact-only. Paid checkout is being prepared, and no timed free trial is enabled. Current checkout availability appears in Plan & billing.
