Understand the product before you connect a repository.
What can I use today?
CodHub supports read-only repository discovery and bounded pull-request sync. Built-in checks are available only for SHA-1 repositories when CodHub supplies a complete diff with matching file, addition and deletion counts. Missing counts, incomplete diffs and SHA-256 reviews are rejected without replacing previous findings.
CodHub AI reviews, automatic reviews, comment delivery, CI ingestion, coding proposals and repository scans are not enabled in this release. Historical GitHub workflows do not establish those capabilities for CodHub. AntiCode does not execute repository code, approve or merge pull requests.
Do I need an AI provider key?
No provider key is requested from customers. CodHub AI features are unavailable in this release, including for paid accounts; an existing plan allowance is not activation.
Does my code leave my Mac?
Native deterministic checks can run locally. The website retrieves authorized CodHub metadata and selected diffs on its server. Eligible built-in checks do not send those diffs to an AI provider. Native reporting and telemetry depend on the installed build and configuration.
Which account do I use?
Available sign-in methods are shown on the sign-in page. The Cloudflare-owned sign-in path does not merge AntiCode accounts by email or profile. Where an additional method is enabled, you can explicitly connect an unbound CodHub or Cloudburg identity to your current account. An identity already connected to another AntiCode account cannot be moved or merged here. Cloudburg sign-in grants identity access only. Repository access requires separate read-only CodHub authorization, including private repositories you may access. Repository authorization must match your linked CodHub identity. Repository tokens are encrypted on the server and are never returned by dashboard APIs.
Existing customers should link CodHub from their authenticated Profile before switching sign-in methods. Linking preserves the existing AntiCode account; this explicit linking flow verifies the current AntiCode session and CodHub identity rather than selecting an account by email text.
Do new pull requests get an automatic review?
CodHub AI reviews, automatic reviews, comment delivery, CI ingestion, coding proposals and repository scans are not enabled in this release. Historical GitHub workflows do not establish those capabilities for CodHub. AntiCode does not execute repository code, approve or merge pull requests.
Can AntiCode replace a human reviewer?
No. Inspect the evidence, reproduce important findings, run relevant tests, and retain human approval. A clean review is not proof that the change is correct or secure.
What happens when my pull request changes?
Sync the repository again. Reviews count as current only when the head commit, base commit, and target branch match. A changed revision needs a new review.
Who sees my triage decisions?
Accepted, dismissed, and open states are personal to your account. Canonical findings are available to authorized customers with access to the same repository. Your personal choices do not hide evidence for another customer.
Are enterprise controls or certifications available?
SSO, SCIM, custom data residency, contractual SLAs, self-hosting, and verified compliance certifications are not currently offered. Discuss requirements before starting an enterprise pilot.
Is there a paid plan or a 14-day trial?
Basic is free. Pro is €19/month or €190/year; Advanced is €49/month or €490/year. Enterprise is contact-only. Paid checkout is being prepared, and no timed free trial is enabled. Current checkout availability appears in Plan & billing.
What limits apply?
Basic supports 1 connected repository, Pro 5 and Advanced 15. Discovery and sync are paginated and bounded; one full sync inspects at most 200 recently updated pull requests. Diff-size, request-time and review-start limits also apply. Partial or failed work remains explicit.
When should I reconnect CodHub?
Eligible saved CodHub grants can renew automatically. Revoked access, legacy connections without a saved refresh grant, or uncertain renewal can require reconnecting in Setup. Disconnecting removes AntiCode workspace access; it does not revoke consent at CodHub or erase all stored history.
How do I try my first review task?
Open Review Story for a labelled, account-free TLS example. Its sample decisions stay in the current tab and reset on reload. To use your own change, open New Review, choose an authorized CodHub repository and synced pull request, inspect the source scope, then explicitly run supported built-in checks. Opening preparation does not run a review.
What do Review, Triage, Explain, Secure and Engineer do?
The five views keep your selected pull request, saved finding and reviewed revision together. Review shows the saved result; Triage organizes your personal inbox; Explain presents evidence and context; Secure focuses on security concerns; Engineer prepares a manual plan, checklist and export. They do not execute tests, edit code, approve a merge or establish a verified fix.
Are source exclusions a privacy filter?
No. AntiCode retrieves and verifies the complete authorized provider diff before applying saved source exclusions. Exclusions limit which files the built-in check inspects. Display filters separately control what you see; neither prevents retrieval of the original diff. Preview the effective scope in New Review before running checks.
What is saved in my personal notebook?
For an eligible immutable saved finding, the notebook keeps your investigation, decision and reason, manual repair plan, checklist marks and reported validation. It stores the latest saved content, not a browsable version history. Undo can restore the prior content held during this visit as a new version. Notebook decisions do not change your separate Triage inbox state or notify other reviewers. Do not enter credentials or unnecessary personal information.
What if a notebook save fails or conflicts?
A conflict or uncertain save requires reloading the saved record before another write. Inspect and retain any draft you need before reloading. AntiCode does not claim a save succeeded when storage is unavailable, and does not silently save private notebook text in browser storage. JSON and Markdown handoffs include the displayed evidence and saved personal content; they are not proof that a repair passed tests.
Why do I see no pull requests?
Check Setup for your repository connection and last sync result. Basic permits one connected repository; discovering another repository does not connect it automatically. In New Review you can sync the selected repository and include merged or closed requests. A completed zero-result sync differs from a partial or failed sync. The public sample does not populate your account.
Does a website update also update the Mac app?
No. The website and installed Mac application have separate releases and capabilities. See Apps & updates for currently published installers, platforms and versions. Older Mac preview builds without an updater need a manual installation of a qualified public release. Installing an app does not activate a paid plan; Windows availability must be checked on the download page.
How do I control browser display preferences?
In a regular website browser, language changes apply to the current page without saving a preference by default. In Cookies and browser storage, you can choose Remember my language on this browser. Only that choice stores the language for later visits. Turning it off removes earlier saved language settings while keeping the current page language.
Reset display preferences turns language remembering off and removes this website’s saved language, theme and motion setting. It keeps the current page language and returns theme and motion to system preferences. It does not sign you out, revoke CodHub access, clear sidebar or review progress, or delete account and notebook records. Storage restrictions can prevent a complete reset; inspect the reported result.
These controls apply to the regular website browser. The installed Mac app synchronizes its language separately; remember and reset controls are unavailable inside that native workspace. This website update does not change the installed app’s preferences.
